Party Bag Safety - Novelties and Sweeties

All of our party bags contain small novelty items. None of these small novelty items are suitable for children under 3 years of age. Adult supervision is required with party bags containing small novelties and sweets!  

It is the responsibility of the person ordering the party bags to ensure the contents are suitable for the age of the children for whom the party bags are being purchased for. Sweetie Options - Lollipops  and smaller sweetie items could be a choke hazard for the smaller child!

We supply specific toddler bags and toddler sweetie bags for smaller children, but responsibility for these still does remain with the parent to ensure suitability for each child.  We do suggest adult supervision at all times with our toddler party bags.

Sweetie Bags, "Party Sweetie Stix" & "Sweetie Treat Cakes"

All of our sweetie products are from well know Confectionery Manufacturers.. Cadburys, Swizzlers, Barretts etc..... 

We cannot guarantee our sweets are nut free or free from nut derivatives.

Obviously “Party Sweetie Stix” are made using a bamboo skewer, this obviously has sharp ends and so these are therefore obviously suited for older children only i.e. those old enough to be able to understand the safety issues regarding the skewer sticks. Should you be buying “Party Sweetie Stix”, please ensure all your parents are aware of the sharp points within this product and supervision must be given re taking the sweeties off the skewers!  Extra care needs to be taken with these items.

"Sweetie Treat Cakes" are cakes made from sweets!  However, to produce these sweetie cakes we have to use cocktail sticks to enable the "cake" to  be held in place.  These are therefore obviously only suitable for children when adult supervision is present.  On dismantling the sweetie cake to eat the sweets, care needs to be taken when removing the sweets from the cocktail sticks, please remember to dispose of the cocktail sticks so as smaller children cannot get them!    Extra care does need to be taken with these items.

Party Bag Pricing

Each party bag is displayed with a photo and it’s description and shows the basic starting price for one party bag. Once you have chosen the bag you would like, the process of adding optional extras of e.g. sweets, will follow, ending with delivery option.   Please note the basic price shown on the screen is exclusive of packing and delivery costs, these are added just before the order is placed.

All our prices are inclusive of 17.5% VAT. A VAT invoice will be generated at the end of your order.

Party Bag Descriptions & Availability

Each party bag has a description of what is included for it’s basic selling price. Photos (which are for illustration purposes only) may accompany the description, one showing all it’s contents and possibly one showing what you could expect the tied party bag to look like.

Please be aware :- Party Novelties generally come in various colours / designs, therefore the colour of the item in the picture may not be the same colours as you receive in your party bags. Our bags which show generic characters e.g. Animals, Under The Sea, Soldiers, Dinosaurs, Musical novelties etc. will be made up of various, therefore all the bags cannot be expected to be the same design / colour e.g. farm animals will contain  a variety of sheep, cows, pigs, horses; dinosaurs - varied species; sealife - varied species, musical instruments - various colouraways...therefore a batch of e.g. 12 party bags may contain a variety of species / designs.  Individual party bag orders are picked at random from stocks we hold.  All party bag pictures in these cases are for illustration purposes only as to what sort of items you can expect to receive. 

Any sizes quoted within the party bag descriptions are solely intended as a guide.

We endeavour to update the website to reflect current availability of party bag options. Availability is subject to change without notice.  If our stocks fall due to popular demand from earlier ordering in the day and, if your order still needed to be processed, we would contact you by telephone or e-mail to advise of this low stock situation, offer an alternative, or a possible new delivery date if you wanted the exact contents; or if you so wished the opportunity to cancel the order and have a full refund.

Delivery Terms

Our standard delivery is for upto 5 working days and is to most UK mainland destinations and comes at the fixed price of £4.99 per order.   Royal Mail 2nd class delivery , parcel weight upto max of 2kg.  (Over 2kg weight we will call to advise of extra postal charges) Signature will be required. (Packaging costs are included in the delivery price).

For a smaller package of "just party novelties", max weight 1kg, we are able to offer a UK Mainland Royal Mail 2nd class delivery, signature required.  Ideal for delivery of a few novelties to enable you to make up your own bags.  Delivery within 3-5 working days to most UK mainland destinations.  Cost £3.15 per package (incl packaging costs)

We are able to offer a guaranteed next working day delivery by 1.00pm.  For this service the order must be placed and payment confirmed by 12 noon the week working day before delivery is required. This next working day guaranteed delivery service (excl Bank Holidays) is available to mostUK mainland destinations and comes at a fixed cost of £6.99 per order.  Max parcel weight upto 1kg (if parcel of greater weight we will contact you with cost of extra postage.)  Royal Mail Delivery with a signature required.  Packaging costs are included within the delivery price. 

Need a Saturday delivery? We can do that too, cost £9.25 (incl. packaging costs).  Royal Mail delivery, signature will be required.  Most UK Mainland destinations covered. Max parcel weight 2kg, should your order weigh more we will contact you to advise of extra postage costs. Please call us to arrange a saturday delivery.

Someone will need to be in to accept and sign for the delivery. Should this not happen when delivery is attempted, or the delivery is refused, information on how you arrange re-delivery of the parcel, or organise the collection of the parcel from the delivery companies depot / post office will be left by either the courier or postman.

Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

We are confident you will be extremely happy with your purchase, but if not you can return the entire order to us for a full refund (less packaging and less delivery costs). Return must be made within 7 days of receipt of your delivery. Before sending the order back to us, you must have contacted the office by e-mail to contact@allsortsofpartybags.co.uk or by phone on 01778 425444. You must state the original order number and date of order, the reason as to why you are wishing to return the entire order. On giving the required information the office will issue you with a returns number which must be clearly identifiable in the returns parcel. The returned goods can only be issued with a refund if they are received back to us in their original condition with all contents complete / labels attached / and in their original packaging.

We would recommend anyone sending a parcel to us to ensure they gain proof of posting. Once the parcel has been received and contents checked as being returned in their entire and un-damaged condition, then a refund will be given as the original payment method.Damaged Goods on Delivery

If you parcel unfortunately arrives damaged, you must advise us within 24 hours of its delivery. We will arrange a replacement delivery and then the return to ourselves of the entire damaged parcel.

Loss or Damage in Transit

We make every effort during packaging your order to ensure it’s contents will remain in perfect condition during transit. Should your parcel arrive damaged, please call us immediately detailing the damage, a photo of how you're parcel has arrived would be appreciated.

Returns Policy

We hope you will be happy with the goods you receive from us.  But, should you not, we do offer a returns /refund or exchange policy.
You must notify us within 48 hours of it's delivery, by either e-mail or by speaking to staff; a message left on the answer phone is not accepted as notification of return.  A member of staff will need to give you a returns number to include with the returning parcel, please include a brief note detailing why you were not happy. The complete parcel must be returned for a refund / exchange. The customer returning the parcel will be responsible for the returning parcel postage costs unless of course  your delivered goods were faulty or they have been incorrectly supplied by us. 
A signature will be required at our offices on receipt of the problem, so please ensure you get the correct service when returning the parcel.  Wrap the parcel well as it needs to be delivered back to us in the condition it left us in. Once the parcel has been received back in, and checked off as complete, the refund will be actioned.

Complaints … We hope not..

If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for whatever reason, we will refund (less original packaging and delivery costs) or exchange the goods, providing you return the complete order, in the same condition as it went out from ourselves.  We would hope to resolve any complaint within 2 working days.Privacy Policy

We are registered as required by the Data Protection Act 1998. Any information, personal or payment, that you provide to this website to enable us to despatch orders of party bags, is treated as strictly private. We do not, and will never pass on or sell to a 3rd party, any personal info you give to us.   As we use Protx to process credit and debit cards, we will not hold any of your credit / debit card information, it will be held by Protx.

We may however, send out e-mail newsletters from time to time or to notify of special offers, you can un-subscribe from all mailings by emailing us at contact@allsortsofpartybags.co.uk from the e-mail address we have registered for you, or if you wish you can advise us by writing to us.
